PersaHi 🙂 My name is Shannon and I’m 44 years old. In school I studied Linguistics and Communication Sciences and Disorders/Speech Language Pathology, and I love helping others learn English. I’m extremely patient because I’m a speech therapist (well, also vice/versa). I’m looking primarily to practice French conversation-I can read and roughly understand basic French, but my grammar and speech at a conversational pace both need work. I’m also interested in German, Spanish, Persian, Arabic, and Portuguese but have never studied any of them except French. I’d love to help you practice English whatever your native language may be, as I miss working with language and speech while quarantined! I’m very good with teaching, particularly pronunciation of difficult sounds like the American /r/ sounds as well as lots of idioms. I’m open to help you work on English no matter which language(s) you already speak. I’m up for helping prepare for English exams.
